FIRST AID TRAINING
for Business and Home
BASIC FIRST AID

First Aid is defined as emergency care for a victim of sudden illness or injury until more skillful medical treatment is available. It's what the first person does when an injured person is found. First aid can be as simple as remembering to call 9-1-1, in other words not panicking. In minor emergencies, first aid can prevent a victim's condition from worsening and provide relief from pain. First aid must be administered as soon as possible. In the case of the critically injured, a few minutes can make the difference between complete recovery and death. Knowing what NOT to do in an emergency is as important as knowing what to do.
INTERMEDIATE FIRST AID

This unique, hands-on course focuses on developing confidence in the practical skills previously learned. This is, in part, achieved through a half-day of realistic simulations of injuries & illnesses. Practical skills are demonstrated using the simulations and through an assessment of resuscitation competency at the conclusion of the course. Safety Works offers this training program to give you the skills and confindence you need when responding to an emergency to render aid. Call today for more information.
